BILiNGUA CHiLDCARE

Warm, playful childcare in English & German

Two independent childminders,
one bilingual community — in Leicester.

"A child who grows up hearing two languages from the start doesn't just learn to speak — they learn to see the world differently."

What we offer

Grounded in the things that matter

🌿
Bilingual immersion
Languages are woven into daily life — songs, stories, play, and mealtimes. No flashcards, no pressure. Just natural, joyful exposure from the very first day.
🏡
Home-like setting
Small groups, familiar routines, and a key-person approach. Your child gets genuine one-to-one time in a calm, home environment — not a classroom.
Ofsted registered
Both settings are independently registered with Ofsted. You can view each childminder's current registration and inspection history through the Ofsted portal.
🌱
Early years expertise
Both Angie and Julia hold formal early years qualifications and maintain continuous professional development in safeguarding, paediatric first aid, and child development.
📋
Transparent planning
Clear contracts, invoicing, and daily observations. Parents receive regular updates and are involved in their child's learning journey from day one.
🤝
Combined sessions
Angie and Julia regularly work together in the same space — two registered practitioners, a slightly larger social group, and greater flexibility. A rare advantage in home-based care.
The childminders

Two settings, one community

Angie and Julia each hold their own Ofsted registration and run their own setting. What makes BILiNGUA special is that they combine sessions regularly — working side by side a few days a week.

Each childminder holds their own Ofsted registration and operates as a sole trader. On combined-session days both practitioners are present and ratios are maintained across the group.

Getting started

How it works

01
Choose your childminder
Both Angie and Julia are based in Leicester and take children from birth to school age. Have a read of their profiles and reach out to whichever feels like the right fit — or ask either of them if you're unsure.
02
Get in touch
Send a quick email to introduce yourself and your child. There's no commitment at this stage — just a friendly conversation to see if it's the right fit, and to find out about combined-session availability.
03
Visit and settle in
You'll be invited for a settling-in session so your child can explore the space at their own pace. On some visits you may meet both Angie and Julia. Contracts, registration forms, and start dates are agreed from there.
